Rather biased: "Failing" is consistently indentical to "being gay". I doubt very much that those who are gay see it that way...
Oh well. I am writing this in a country where the great majority of the population think that seeing a loving couple is sort of romantic regardless of the sexes of the couple. It's been that way for years.
Also, it is commonly accepted that straights (and gays, of course) defend everybody's right to their sexuality. Nobody makes the assumption that you are gay just because you smile to the two boys kissing in the park -- or, that you are no longer gay if you smile to the kissing straight couple in the park.
I prefer girls myself, but honestly: Quite a few of those pictured in this series, I would never even think of approaching! There is just too much of everything. No, not really: Too much "Hey, I'm a girl!!! Can't you see?? I am screaming all my extreme girliness out to you, I am throwing myself at you! Girliness is all I've got, but I've got soooo much of it! No other human qualities, but plenty of girl! ... Say, why do you turn away? Don't you WANT me? Are you not crazy for my girliness?? Come back here! Now, at once! I order you - my girliness has power over you! It has not, you say? You must be crazy. A man looking for other qualities in a person - what kind of man is that?"
But then again: I grew up in a different culture, I live in a different culture. It is probably because of that.
nobody see me if i don't move
