Sweet Story of a Rescued Pit Bull

17 Sep 2013

1

Last month, they found this little lady, exhausted, in a lot in Los Angeles. They named her Cadence.

2

Luckily, the Hope For Paws group were able to get her into a veterinary clinic to get her x-rays and start her on antibiotics.

3

They put her under the gas with puppy anesthesia to clean up the wounds around her face.

4

After her surgery Cadence made some new friends.

5

6

And played some dress up.

7

Then it was time for Cadence’s Entropion surgery, to fix her eyes.

8

And then, of course, the dreaded cone of shame, which she cheerifully wore.

9

10

Then the cone came off, with one last vet check-up to make sure her eyes are in tip-top shape.

11

And now she’s hanging out at her foster home, recovering (and swimming), waiting to be adopted.

Meanwhile thousands of other dogs were euthanized for lack of homes. Makes no sense to save this one pit bull and kill other dogs that aren't as likely to bite someone's head off...

...and your comment shows just how ignorant you are of this breed.

They make one of if not the best pet you could wish for. A dog is only as good as its owner. like children, if you don't raise them right then you have no one to blame only yourself.

The greatness of a society and its moral progress can be judged by the way it treats its animals.
