#63 Records show that 2,693 people went to the guillotine over the 9 month "Reign of Terror" between 1793 & 1794. That's an average of 10 heads a day. That basket would have been soaked in blood and probably had a couple heads in it already. They would leave them in there until it was full before emptying it. (and for the effect it would have on the condemned) Good stuff.

Maybe they used a fresh one for the Queen. Maybe you are just a douchebag who cannot appreciate a joke without quoting some useless trivia and trying to ruin it for others. Who knows?
