A London resident, Angela Cricmore, was born in Brazil and, according to her, always watched her weight and followed a healthy diet. However, after moving to the UK, Cricmore got married, started working at a hotel, and began eating unhealthy food. Over the course of seven years Cricmore gained 30 kilograms of excess weight.
She finally decided to lose weight and at that moment, the woman began to distance herself from her husband. "It was difficult for both of us to deal with the changes. I no longer cooked food that he liked, and on Saturdays, I didn't want to sit on the couch and eat fast food or go to the pub," she says.
After a while, Cricmore joined a gym, which further affected her relationship with her husband. As a result, she had to file for divorce. Cricmore was able to quickly regain her previous shape. "Although weight loss drastically changed my life, I have no regrets. If I hadn't lost weight, I wouldn't be where I am now, that is, I wouldn't have reunited with my more feminine side," she says."
