Almena,

It's yet another improperly phrased "fact." It's actually an example of superluminal motion, which describes an object (in this case M87) traveling at a speed very close to the speed of light and also travelling directly toward the observer. This results in an apparent speed greater than that of light, when in fact it is not. It's basically an illusion.

#22 An elaboration-
The Big Rip is hypothetical cosmological theory (and one of several) concerning the ultimate fate of the universe.
It proposes that the universe's expansion will continue exponentially until the distance between all subatomic particles becomes infinite within in a finite period of time. That time is estimated to be about 22 billion years.
The "explosions" involved are nothing like the kind dynamite produces, but rather a rapidly increasing expansion of the distance between objects. Think of a balloon being blown up slowly at first and then gradually increasing to the speed of an airbag inflating.

#4 is also one of the candidates for colonisation at about 50 kilometres above the surface you reach temperatures and pressure similar to earth. still poisonous but unlike mars, you wouldn't need a full vac suit when you go outside and because the atmosphere is so thick radiation would also be less of an issue.
#11 um there are black holes all over this galaxy including a very big one smack in the middle.
