Also, you should own your own home, that way the money you dish out every month is an investment, AND you can do your own repairs/renovations/remodeling.
Hessy, Sure I'll buy house with my $250,000 in student debt and my $40,000 a year job (banks love to give loans to people with no available money). I don't really need to eat or anything...
Kizza, $250,000 in student debt?! Both my son and daughter go to a major public university in Florida - tuition, fees, books, and supplies are <$7500 (each) per year. Most students can get scholarships. That's $30,000 for a 4 year degree. Where were you going to school that you have $250,000 in debt? And how could you pay that much for a degree and only make $40,000 a year? You did something terribly wrong.
Lilly, a public school teacher might not make a lot - and they know that before they even start working on their degree - but they wouldn’t get $250k in debt - not with a Masters, not even with a Doctorate.
Martine, you mean paid for by the taxes of janitors, garbage collectors, roofers, lawn maintenance crews, taxi drivers, pizza makers, etc etc that will never go through the university - you think it’s fair to have them foot your school bill? What kind of an entitled prick takes money from them so that they can go to school for “free?”
Martine, imagine that it is actually free but you have to put in the effort, it's called a library. Besides if higher education was free for all, it would devalue it. please go learn something else.

Never be a public school teacher then...
now imagine you'd live in a world where education was free for all.
But that's just socialism and needs to be shunned, right?

Higher education is free for all here in Norway.. Not devaluated here.. so theres that..Its even free for foreign students too..
That's the only part that people can see from the street "curb appeal"...
When I saw this picture in the 'Facing the Storm' post on Monday, it was attributed to a contractor.
How exactly are #8 and #14 landlord related?
