Aryn, 25, also known as Vampyryn, says it took her two-and-a-half hours to get ready each day, as she put in colored contacts, painted black lines on her face, added fake blood and shaved her eyebrows. Appearing on a TV show called “Transformed”, she decided to get a radical makeover, in the style of an "Instagram" model. After some work with Melanie Viger, make-up artist who specializes in “sexy make-up”, her transformation was complete and even her sister and her boyfriend struggled to recognize her.

Txema Salvans spent eight years photographing the prostitution rampant along Spain's mediterranean coastal roads. His goal was not to tell these women’s personal stories but to illuminate a large-scale phenomenon. Salvans wishes to highlight an unspoken political problem, which, through the silence surrounding it, renders these women an invisible part of the landscape.
