A famous photographer Anthony Karen explores Ku Klux Klan initiations since April 2005. He is the best in capturing personal images of people doing taboo things as he has entered some of the most notorious and puzzling subcultures in the world. In this post you can find private photos of white nationalist groups, including National Socialist Movement, Aryan Nations Union, and White Knights of America. Today Karen continues working on this theme letting others glance inside the world which is closed for ordinary people.

The funniest thing about the Aryan movement, if you can consider it funny, is those taking often taking 'pride' in their racial identity (in the most visible way) would be considered unworthy of life (i.e. junk that needs to be removed to purify the race) by those chosen as their idols...simply put, they would be seen as nothing by white trash.

I don't understand why you can't be proud of who you are and NOT hate other people. The thing that is bringing these people together is not the fact that they are "Aryan" but the fact that they HATE everyone else. I'm proud to be a white guy but I don't hate anyone. There is nothing wrong with pride in one's own race but people like these, make it a racist statement to say "I'm proud to be white".

Ok, nice pics. My feeling on these kinds of things are, as long as they don't cause harm I see no problem with them meeting up. When they start attacking black people or Jews, we do something, but as long as they keep to themselves, leave them be.

Lecram, Gotta agree there.. Probably would have worded it differently but it is quite hypocritical saying that they must be put in concentration camps. I am assuming these pictures are from America. A land that was colonised by Europeans who now claim it to be theirs. I had to laugh at the board with Hitler and the quote " this is not a fight I looked for but one which has been forced upon me by those who wish to make me an alien in my own land". Let's talk about ignorance. I come from a slavic country, i can ensure you, neo-nazism is definitely not popular here. It is forbidden!! It's crime, such gathering couldn't take place, this people would have major problems with police and justice.

dotti,I'm also from a Slavic country, and even though it is forbidden here as well, waaaaaay too many kids are calling themselves neo-nazies. We have had many problems with them, they have killed number of Gypsies, caused social riot and problems on my college... Forrest, i'm really sorry to hear that. It's rather doubtful, that Poland, where i come from, is free form neo-nazis. Luckily i have never met them, or even seen them on the streets. The problem exists, but i hope it's marginal. Polish nazis are outcasts and mostly so called "hooligans", football fanatics.

Sadly there are here too many so-called "righteous" citizens (even among politics), that can be discribed only as anti-Semites, and that what really bothers me. It's shame!!!
