my understanding is that military service is compulsive in israel when one reaches a certain age.
as for the many pitiful, hateful comments on this page-
i would like to just say that these girls are still human beings. most were born into this situation and have little choice about their military involvement, similar to many other situations that young people find themselves in around the world.
also, a question- if israel was magically erased from the map, and all jewish people disappeared overnight, would the hate in your hearts suddenly disappear?
somehow, i doubt it.
To answer your question,i can't really say if the hatred in the hearts of those who lost their homes and,even worse,their loved ones due to the crimes o Israeli occupiers would would somehow cease to exist,but i'm certain that the world would become a better,more peaceful place if the state of Israel,founded on tears and blood,was to recognize,apologize and of course be punished for the continuous atrocities and violations of human rights.
