#5 - yeah, because we buy them few days before x-mass and prepare them for the Christmas dinner. And want to have them fress. So you have to let them swimm somwhere....

#5 same in Poland, we buy them alive and prepare on a the day we eat them. But it changed a lot in last years, many people ditch carp for other fish that you can buy frozen all year round.
