Athlete Caster Semenya - man or woman? (20 pics)
Posted in RANDOM 25 Aug 2009 39393
Caster Semenya is a South African middle-distance runner who won the 800 m at the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games. She won gold in the 800 m at the 2009 World Championships in Athletics in the final setting a new world record. Just right after the race, the rumours sprang that she is not a girl but a guy. The International Association of Athletics Federations conducted a gender verification test in the weeks before awarding Semenya the medal. Semenya states she was unconcerned about the test and rumours and considered boycotting the medal ceremony as a result. The IAAF explained that it does not suspect deliberate cheating but wants to determine if Semenya has a "rare medical condition" which gives her an unfair advantage.
And to you, does she look like a man or a woman.

The summer here is hot, hope you have hot days too wherever you are.
Such summer days make you only wish for one thing – to go to the beach or a swimming pool, just to be near the water ;))
Anyway, I also noticed that our visitors are bit by bit returning from their vacation. And this is great, the more, the merrier.

Hi everyone!
I know I know, it's been 2 days that I haven’t written the Curiosities. I had a crisis of imagination ;)
Otherwise, these last 2 days, we had small problems that occurred on 2 sites and therefore had to arrange it.
Starting today, we put a new format of the Curiosities. Now we will have images with stars, bonus pictures and animated gifs. And ‘the morning hello’ won’t be written every day like before but when there is something important to say or make an announcement.
Or if you want, for example, to wish someone a happy birthday, you can send me the photo of that person, write a poem or something else and I will post it here in the Curiosities
Have a good day and see you tomorrow!

That is what happens if you are going across mudflats in search of the perfect afternoon fishing spot.
This news was sent us by Johannes Arnstad.
“The animal (don't know the name, but its a male sheep), was standing on a cliff next to the wire that supports the phone pole. It got tangled and desperate, and the result is shown in the pictures”.
